My sister and I came up with the idea to start our own cosmetic company in 2019. However, we didn't officially launch our brand until 2020. We had several different names for our cosmetic brand and finally came up with Envy Queen Cosmetics. We wanted our own cosmetic line because we felt there are not many successful black owned cosmetic companies.We also wanted a business that we could pass down to our children and mainly to start generational wealth. We literally had no idea what we were doing but we had to start somewhere. To see how much we have grown from then to now is truly a blessing. We strive to give our customers quality products at an affordable price. We test every product we have before we give it to our customers. If we receive a sample and the quality is not up to our standards we will find another vendor. Having that trust between us and our customers is a priority.
